Come create with me!

Come create with me!

How my workshops began.

It’s been 8 years since I started hosting my floral workshops and they have now become an extremely popular creative activity to hold amongst florists. I decided to start the workshops to give people a chance to learn some floristry skills and get creative and hands on. I have held all kinds of different floral workshops from creating floral circlets to Christmas wreaths. All the materials I provide for my workshops are locally sourced and also recyclable and biodegradable.

Bridal parties & girly afternoons.

One of my very first workshops was for a lovely bride to be who approached me about hosting a bridal party workshop making floral circlets. I thought what a lovely idea so we went ahead and what a fabulous afternoon all 20 of us had. Every person was a beginner and told me they had never done anything like it before but each one of them did amazingly well and were thrilled with their end creation and new found skill.

Wreaths for all seasons.

My main type of workshop is wreath making. I just absolutely love a wreath.Walk past my home and guaranteed I have a new wreath for spring, summer, autumn, and winter. I find making them is very therapeutic and rewarding. My favourite thing to do in the crisp autumn and winter mornings is to get in my garden and make wreaths all wrapped up with a hot cup of tea. I find it so refreshing. I love going out for walks and foraging for new foliages for my wreaths. I am guaranteed to always have a pair of cutters in my pocket! You just never know when you will stumble upon the most beautiful bush. My Christmas workshops are always fun. It’s a great way to get together with friends and get festive and creative. The chilled Prosecco and warmed mulled wine is always flowing.

I am regularly adding new workshops onto my website. Why not have a look and get booked onto one if you love flowers, being creative, and being hands on. Remember all of my workshops are for beginners.
